“If you have no role, you have no value.”
— The Knocking

We struggle with the ideas of faith and tradition. How much value can we put in something we can’t touch? What about traditions? Should we continue to do things one way because that’s always been the way?

These two ideas collided in THE KNOCKING. It’s set in a world of faith. But that faith is built on a barbaric and outdated tradition. Sure, the tradition has kept this community alive and thriving but is that enough of a reason to do it again? Is there a price too high to pay to continue the human race?
