Stories of a Possible Future

The future is decided by the
choices we make today.
If this is our future,
would you make different choices?

“A pen is like a knife, the paper a shirt, and the ink the blood. When you look closely at where the knife presses into the shirt, like I do, you see the way the blood spreads.”
— Alder's Contribution

Stories of a Possible Future is a collection of short stories about the world we’re creating for ourselves. There’s the world of machines that want to be treated liked humans. The world where water is the currency of life. The world where non-digitized art is rare, yet of no value until it’s digitized. The world of too many people, and too few bodies. The world that’s ending. The world of war. The world of powers. The world of censorship. The world of prisoners. The world of… our future.

Two of the nine short stories have been optioned. One by Universal Pictures and the other by Universal Cable Productions.
